Shabazz Ventures ("we", "our", or "us") develops and operates mobile applications. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use any of our apps.

Information We Collect

Our apps may collect the following types of information:

• Device Identifiers: We collect device advertising identifiers to serve relevant advertisements through third-party ad networks.
• Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with our apps, such as features used and time spent in the app.
• Purchase History: If you make in-app purchases, we receive confirmation of your transactions through Apple's payment system. We do not have access to your payment card information.
• Crash Data: We may collect crash logs and performance data to improve app stability.
• User Content (AI Features): When you use AI-powered features in our apps (such as a Daily Briefing or in-app Q&A chat), the text you submit is transmitted to our AI service provider as described in the "AI Features" section below.

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide and improve our apps
• Display relevant advertisements
• Process in-app purchases
• Analyze app performance and fix bugs
• Generate AI-powered responses for in-app features that explicitly require them

AI Features

Some of our apps include AI-powered features such as a Daily Briefing and a team-themed Q&A chat. When you use these features, the following data is transmitted to OpenAI through our backend proxy hosted on Cloudflare Workers in order to generate a response:

• The text you type into the AI chat, or a system-generated summary prompt for the Daily Briefing.
• Public sports context (game scores, schedules, rosters, injuries, standings) sourced from the BallDontLie public sports-stats API.

We do not transmit personally identifiable information to OpenAI. No name, email address, account identifier, device identifier, IP-derived location, contacts, photos, microphone audio, or health/financial data is sent.

OpenAI processes the prompt to generate a response and, per its API data-use policy, does not use API request data to train its models. We do not store AI prompts or responses on our servers beyond what is required to deliver the response to your device.

Use of the AI features in our apps constitutes consent to this data processing. If you do not wish to share data with OpenAI, please do not use the AI features.

Third-Party Services

Our apps use third-party services that may collect or process information:

• Google AdMob: For displaying advertisements. Google Privacy Policy
• Apple StoreKit: For processing in-app purchases. Apple Privacy Policy
• OpenAI: AI service provider used to generate Daily Briefing and Q&A chat responses. OpenAI API Privacy Policy
• Cloudflare Workers: Backend proxy that forwards AI requests from our apps to OpenAI. Cloudflare Privacy Policy
• BallDontLie API: Public sports-data API used for scores, schedules, rosters, and injuries. BallDontLie Privacy Policy

Data Retention

We retain usage data only as long as necessary to provide our services and improve the app experience. AI prompts and responses are not retained on our servers beyond the request lifecycle. You can reset your advertising identifier through your device settings at any time.

Children's Privacy

Our apps are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Choices

You can:

• Opt out of personalized ads through your device's privacy settings
• Reset your advertising identifier at any time
• Decline to use the AI features in any of our apps; the rest of the app will continue to function normally
• Delete the app to stop all data collection

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
